Meat chickens have arrived! This summer we are raising 50 meat chickens from chick to chicken nugget. We will rotationally graze them in a chicken tractor made with a design from Joel Salatin, owner of Polyface Farms in Virginia. Currently, the layers are testing it out.
Hey! here are some recent photos from the farm. We had a whopping 29 lambs this year. One of the videos is an adorable bottle lamb named Max, who follows me around everywhere I go. This past fall, we constructed a 30′ by 48′ commercial greenhouse. In late winter, we moved our ewe group into the greenhouse for lambing. It was a successful lambing season and a process we will definitely continue to use next year.
On our farm, we practice sustainable agriculture practices. We feed solely grass and forage whenever possible, at rotate our sheep to new grass frequently.
We are currently offering the following cuts of lamb: rib and loin chops, bone-in and boneless legs, shanks, ground, shoulder, neck, french racks, and bones.

This year our County Fair went Virtual. We made the best of it showing our own sheep for the first time.
